Chris Pratt is set to reprise the role of Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and where he will discover who is father really is.
We have known for some time that the Guardians sequel would explore Quill's true parentage and James Gunn announced earlier this year that Kurt Russell will play Ego.
In a new interview with Empire, Pratt talks about how Quill will react to discovering that his father may not be exactly what he was expecting - he is a Living Planet.
Speaking to Empire, Pratt said: "You're going to see these characters having to endure the realities of being in a family.
"You're talking about a guy who's been longing to know who his father is for a long time. He'll discover if that person lives up to the expectations he has in his head."
This will be the second time that Pratt has played Quill and the movie comes three years after the huge success of Guardians of the Galaxy.
The movie sees Pratt reunite with Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista and Vin Diesel while James Gunn returns to the director's chair.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 will be the first of three Marvel films to be released in 2017 and we are expecting the Guardians to make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War.
As for Pratt, he will be back on the big screen this month as he joins the ensemble cast for The Magnificent Seven, which is directed by Antoine Fuqua.
He is also set to star in sci-fi film Passengers, alongside Jennifer Lawrence, later this year.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is released 28th April 2017.
