Chris Pratt has confirmed that he is signed up to star in a Jurassic World sequel.
Jurassic World has only just hit the big screen and there is already talk of a second movie - not surprising as the film has taken $511 million worldwide on its first weekend of release.
Pratt leads the cast in the central role of Owen and will be back should another film get the green light.
When asked by Entertainment Weekly if he would be back, the actor said: "I am. They have me for I think 38 movies or something."
Jurassic World saw Pratt team up with director Colin Trevorrow as he took over the helm of this popular franchise for the first time.
And Pratt had nothing but praise for the filmmaker - calling him 'the boss' on set.
He continued: "He's the boss. He maintained control, was decisive. He created a lot of movement in the scenes. He directed. I say that because sometimes directors come in and yelling action and yelling cut is not directing. Directing is letting us know his vision.
"He directed all the animatics stuff too. So when he was directing this movie, he was essentially remaking this movie."
Jurassic World has taken $511 million at the global box office this weekend - making it the most successful opening weekend of all time.
The movie has topped the box office in the U.S. taking $204 million - just failing to take the domestic record held by Avengers Assemble at $207 million. A further $100 million was taken at the Chinese box office this weekend.
This is the second summer in a row that Pratt has enjoyed HUGE box office success as he enjoyed critical and commercial acclaim in 2014 with Guardians of the Galaxy.
