Yesterday it was revealed that filming had got underway on Thor: Ragnarok and now Chris Hemsworth has released the first video of him arriving at the studio in Queensland, Australia.
Hemsworth is set to reprise the title role in what will be the third solo Thor film. The video sees Hemsworth at the studio, with his shake, and joking that there's a perk to playing Thor.
Thor: Ragnarok will be released four years after the success of Thor: The Dark World and Taika Waititi will take over the director's chair of the franchise for the first time.
Waititi follows in the footsteps of Kenneth Branagh and Alan Taylor and this will be his first Marvel film and the biggest movie of his directing career to date.
Hemsworth is not the only familiar face on the cast list as Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, and Idris Elba are set to return.
Double Oscar winner Cate Blanchett is the big new addition to the cast list as she will take on the role of Hela for the first time.
Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban, and Tess Thompson are some of the other new faces that will be joining the MCU. Thor: Ragnarok will also see Mark Ruffalo back as Bruce Banner as we see this character outside the Avengers franchise for the first time.
Thor: Ragnarok will also be the first time that we have seen Thor on the big screen since the huge success of Avengers: Age of Ultron back in 2015.
Thor: Ragnarok will be the third of three Marvel films to be released next year as the studio continues to build towards Avengers: Infinity War. We still do not know if Thor will be making an appearance in that Avengers double bill.
2016 has already been a busy year for Hemsworth as he has starred in The Huntsman: Winter's War and he will be back on the big screen next week with Ghostbusters.
Thor: Ragnarok is released 27th October 2017.
