Paul Feig has taken to Twitter to reveal that Chris Hemsworth has been cast as the receptionist in the new Ghostbusters film.
Hemsworth is the latest addition to the cast list and the popular actor teams up with Feig for the first time.
Feig posted a picture of Hemsworth on his Twitter page - with the message "Our receptionist. #whoyougonnacall"
Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones are already aboard the movie as Feig puts a new spin on the Ghostbusters franchise.
As well as being in the director's chair, Feig has teamed up with Katie Dippold to pen the screenplay.
Filming on Ghostbusters will begin in Boston on 15th June and the movie is set to hit the big screen next summer. However, no UK release date for the film has yet been announced.
As for Hemsworth, he has already enjoyed box office success this year with the billion-dollar hit Avengers: Age of Ultron, which saw him return to the role of Thor for the first time since Thor: The Dark World.
The actor has also completed work on Vacation and In The Heart of the Sea, which see him reunite with Rush director Ron Howard. He is also set to return to the role of the Huntsman in new film The Huntsman - which he has been filming since the spring.
A third Thor movie is also in the pipeline with the Ragnarok storyline set to be explored for the first time. Thor: Ragnarok is due for a 2017 released.
Ghostbusters will hit the big screen in the U.S. on 22nd July 2016.
