Chris Evans has revealed that he was excited when he first saw the rest of his The Avengers co-stars in their costumes.
The actor is set to reprise the role of Captain America in the Joss Whedon movie, that brings a whole host of Marvel heroes together.
Robert Downey Jr and Chris Hemsworth are also back as Iron Man & Thor while Jeremy Renner & Mark Ruffalo are set to play HawkEye and The Hulk.
And Evans admits that he felt like a kid shooting his first seen when he saw Hemsworth and Downey Jr dressed as their characters.
Speaking to Empire the actor said: "The first time I came out on set and saw other people in costume, it was a night-time scene in the woods and involved myself, Chris Hemsworth and Downey Jr.
"I had just seen Thor maybe two nights before so I got on set and I saw Hemsworth in the cape and immediately thought, 'God, there's Thor, I'm looking at Thor,' and then I saw Downey Jr in the suit
"It's amazing. The kid in me would say, 'I didn't get to act with Robert Downey Jr, I got to act with Iron Man.
"I'd never had that before, where I had seen actors in a film that I was not a part of and then come to work to help them to extend that character's life. It's like being a little kid."
Samuel L Jackson and Scarlett Johansson are also back as Nick Fury and Black Widow while Tom Hiddleston is also returning as Loki.
The Avengers is released 27th April.
