It seems that Chloe Moretz has joined The Equalizer after tweeting her excitement on Twitter.
The Equalizer will see Antoine Fuqua back in the director's chair as he is set to reunite with Oscar winning actor Denzel Washington.
The pair worked together on Training Day - which was critically acclaimed and saw Washington pick up the Best Actor Academy Award.
Moretz had been linked to the film but now it seems that she is aboard the project as she tweeted she was excited to get started.
She posted: "This is so amazing. Thank you Antoine, Thank you Denzel, and thank you Sony!! :) Cannot wait to start..."
The Equalizer was a hit American television series that ran from the mid to late nineties and has now been adapted for the big screen.
As for Moretz we will be seeing her back on the big screen this summer as she reprises the role of Hit Girl in Kick-Ass 2. She is also set to play Carrie White in the remake of horror classic Carrie.
She is currently lending her voice to Trolls while a whole host of other projects are in the pipeline for the young actress.
The Equalizer is set to hit the big screen next year.
