The excitement surrounding Unbroken really is rising - and it is a film we are also looking forward to here at FemaleFirst.
Unbroken marks the return of Angelina Jolie to the director's chair as she brings the incredible true story of Louis 'Louie' Zamperini to the big screen.
We have already been treated to a fantastic new trailer for the film this week, and now we have two great new posters to share with you.
Jolie made her live action directorial debut back in 2011 with In the Land of Blood and Honey, and Unbroken will mark her first film since that debut.
Jack O'Connell - an actor who is well and truly on the rise - will take on the central role of Zamperini, while Jai Courtney, Domhnall Gleeson, Garrett Hedlund, and Luke Treadaway complete a very exciting cast list.
Unbroken is an epic drama that follows the incredible life of Olympian and war hero Louis 'Louie' Zamperini (O’Connell) who, along with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in WWII - only to be caught by the Japanese Navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp.
Unbroken is a movie that I have been looking forward to for quite some time, and the more I see of it the more I am desperate to see it.
Unbroken is already surrounded in Oscar talk... could we see Jolie in the mix for Best Director at the beginning of next year?
Unbroken is released 26th December.
