Charlize Theron has been linked to a role in new film American Express.
According to The Wrap, the Oscar winning actress is in talks to star in and produce the Nash Edgerton directed film.
American Express would be the second feature film for Edgerton - he made his debut back in 2008 with crime drama The Square. However, the plot for the film is currently being kept under wraps.
We haven’t seen Theron on the big screen since the success of Prometheus back in the summer of 2012, but she is returning later this month with comedy/western A Million Ways To Die In The West.
The movie will see her team up with Seth MacFarlane for the first time: MacFarlane will direct as well as star in the film. Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried and Neil Patrick Harrison are also on the cast list.
Theron is also set on take on the central role of Libby Day in Dark Places. Dark Places is directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner and is an adaptation of the Gillian Flynn novel of the same name.
Chloe Grace Moretz, Christina Hendricks, Nicholas Hoult, and Tye Sheridan will all join Theron on the cast list.
Theron has also completed work on Mad Max: Fury Road with Tom Hardy and is set to star in The Last Face.
