I really am counting the days until Chappie hits the big screen - I have been looking forward to this movie for some time - and the new UK trailer has arrived. I was a big fan of Neill Blomkamp's first two films District 9 and Elysium and it is great to see him sticking with a similar genre with Chappie.
And we don't have long to wait until Chappie hits the big screen, and here is the brand new and action packed trailer to take a look at:
As well as being back in the director's chair, Blomkamp has teamed up with Terri Tatchell to pen the screenplay as well as bringing together another terrific cast list.
Dev Patel, Hugh Jackman, and Sigourney Weaver all team up with the filmmaker for the first time, while Sharlto Copley works with Blomkamp on a third consecutive film as he voices the character of Chappie.
Every child comes into the world full of promise, and none more so than Chappie: he is gifted, special, a prodigy. Like any child, Chappie will come under the influence of his surroundings - some good, some bad - and he will rely on his heart and soul to find his way in the world and become his own man.
But there's one thing that makes Chappie different from anyone else: he is a robot. The first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. His life, his story, will change the way the world looks at robots and humans forever.
