Channing Tatum and Zoe Saldana are set to team up for new animation film Book of Life.
Tatum and Saldana are set to lend their voices to the new film: which will be directed by Jorge Gutierrez and produced by Guillermo del Toro.
Diego Luna, Christina Applegate, Cheech Marin, Hector Elizondo and Placido Domingo are all also lending their voices to the film.
The plot focuses on Manolo, a boy who is torn between the expectations of his family and following his dreams. He embarks upon a journey across three magical worlds, during which he comes face-to-face with his biggest fears, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
We are going to be seeing plenty of Tatum next year as he has Foxcatcher, The Lego Movie and Jupiter Ascending all on the horizon. He is also set to reprise the role of Jenko in 22 Jump Street.
As for Saldana she will be joining the Marvel world next summer with Guardians of the Galaxy: she will take on the role of Gamora.
She has also completed work on Nina, Our of the Furnace and Infinitely Polar Bear.
'Book of Life' is scheduled for release on October 17, 2014.
