Channing Tatum could be joining the cast of Bad Romance.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the actor is in early negotiations to star and produce the film.
Jonathan Levine will direct the film as well as pen the screenplay, while Tatum and Reid Carolin will produce the film.
There is still no word about the script or who else may be in the running to star.
It has been an action packed year for Tatum having appeared in G.I. Joe: Retaliation and White House Down.
And he has also been filming a string of projects; and varied projects at that.
He has completed work on Foxcatcher - which tells the story of Olympic Wrestling Champion Mark Schultz and the paranoid schizophrenic that killed his brother.
Tatum will play Mark Schultz in the film alongside Steve Carell and Mark Ruffalo, while Bennett Miller is in the director's chair.
He has also completed work on sci-fi film Jupiter Ascending and lent his voice to The Lego Movie.
The actor is currently working on 22 Jump Street, which sees him return to the role of Jenko alongside Jonah Hill.
