Channing Tatum says he loves throwing himself into stunt work on the movies that he makes.
The actor is back on the big screen this September as he teams up with Jamie Foxx for White House Down.
And while the actor is keen on doing as much stunt work as he can he admits that he wasn't allowed to do one particular stunt on the film.
Speaking to Total Film the actor said: "There was a part of the movie when we’re on the roof of the White House, fighting, and I do a fall. But they wouldn’t let me do the fall from the atrium.
"Just because there was falling glass, there was a break away table, there was a plant. So they wouldn’t let me do that - just because there was too many elements. I get it.
"But I love it... I like being ‘Ha! I got through that one!’"
Tatum takes on the role of a Capitol policeman in the Roland Emmerich who jumps into action to save the president from a group of paramilitary invaders.
We are also going to be seeing Tatum in Foxcatcher while he is working on Jupiter Ascending - which is directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski.
White House Down is released 6th September.
