Boseman is set to take on the role of Black Panther and we will get to see our first glimpse of the character in the upcoming Civil War, which is the third standalone Captain America film.

And while Boseman says that nothing prepares you for the Marvel experience, he has been made to feel very welcome by the rest of the cast.

Speaking to marvel.com, the actor said: "I don't think there's any way for anybody to prepare you for this. I just think people have been very gracious in welcoming me on set, and even off set. What was more important was, you know, Chris [Evans] has been very cool in terms of inviting me to stuff and giving me a hard time in the best way. His sense of humour is great.

Robert Downey has been great as well, [Anthony] Mackie--everybody. Everybody's been cool. I've seen a lot of them separate from being here, so it didn't feel like when I got here it was like all of a sudden meeting them for the first time. I think that's what's weird, is when you step on the set and all of a sudden--[and] I've worked with really great actors before--there's always a certain amount of nervous energy, just because you don't know these people."

Boseman is not the only new hero that we are going to be introduced to in Captain America: Civil War, as Tom Holland, will also be making his debut as Spider-Man.

As for Boseman, he will return to the role of Black Panther in 2018 when the character gets his first solo film. It has been announced that Ryan Coogler will be in the director's chair for the film.

Boseman is the only name that is officially on the cast list, but Andy Serkis has been linked to reprise the role of Ulysses Klaue, a character we were introduced to in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The Black Panther solo film is set for a 6th July 2018 UK release.
