Mark Ruffalo has described Cate Blanchett's character in Thor: Ragnarok as 'the worst of the worst.'
Ruffalo is set to reprise the role of Bruce Banner in the third solo Thor film and it will be the first time that we have seen this character outside of the Avengers franchise.
As well as Ruffalo being a big new addition to the cast list, the film will also star Oscar-winner Blanchett, who is set to take on the role of villain Hela.
Speaking about the character to Entertainment Tonight, Ruffalo said: "She plays the worst of the worst. So evil. She is going to kill us. It's such a great part she gets to play."
Thor: Ragnarok is the first Thor film since the success of Thor: The Dark World back in 2013.
Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are the big names set to return, as they will reprise the roles of Thor and Loki.
However, it is all change in the director's chair as Taika Waititi will direct a Marvel film for the first time.
Waititi has brought us movies such as Eagle vs Shark during his career and this will be his first feature since Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
Thor: Ragnarok is currently in pre-production and filming will get underway later this year.
This will be the third of three Marvel films to hit the big screen next year and will follow Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming onto the big screen.
The movie is part of Phase 3 of Marvel films and is expected to further set up events in Avengers: Infinity War Part 1.
Thor: Ragnarok will be the first time that we have seen Ruffalo take on the role of Hulk since Avengers: Age of Ultron but it is unclear how and where he will fit into the story.
Thor: Ragnarok is released 27th October 2017.
