Tom Hanks has two roles on the horizon that could help him bag another Best actor Oscar nomination... Captain Phillips is one of them.
The movie sees the two time winner team up with the fantastic Paul Greengrass to take this incredible true story.
Hanks will play Captain Richard Phillips in a film that follows the hijacking of his ship in 2009 by Somali pirates.

The movie is based on Phillips' memoir A Captain’s Duty: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALs, and Dangerous Days at Sea, and has been adapted for the big screen by Billy Ray.
This is the first big screen outing for Greengrass since the release of Green Zone back in 2010.
Catherine Keener, Max Martini, Yul Vazquez and Michael Chernus are also on the cast list.
Captain Phillips is released 18th October.
