Kevin Feige has hinted that Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be a political thriller.
The movie is the second stand alone film for the character of Captain America and will see Chris Evans return to the role.
And Feige has given little hints as to what we can expect from the film second time around.
Speaking to Variety Feige said: "If [superhero films are] a fad, it's one that lasts 30 to 40 years, as the Western did, because each one is so different.
"There's an opportunity to graft almost sub-genres on to them. Our first Captain America film was a World War II picture, and the next is a political thriller.
"They all have their own textures and patinas, and that's what is exciting about it."
Anthony Russo and Joe Russo will be in the director's chair this time around while Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie are all on the cast list.
Filming is yet to get underway on the movie but it is set for a April 2014 release.
