Captain America: Civil War will have a 'controversial ending' according to the film's directors.
Civil War will see Anthony and Joe Russo back in the director's chair for the first time since the success of The Winter Solider and I really cannot wait to see what they deliver this time around.
We still have a couple of months to wait until Civil War finally hits the big screen, and the filmmaking siblings have been teasing fans about what they can expect this time around.
Speaking to Empire Magazine, Joe Russo said: "The consequences of Civil War will have an even more significant impact [than The Winter Soldier].
"In Civil War, we're going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Psychology, and it's an extreme shift. Winter Soldier was a political thriller; this is a psychological thriller."
Anthony Russo went on to tease fans further by saying that the film is going to have a "very dramatic ending that will be controversial for a lot of people."
Civil War will be the second Marvel film for the Russo brothers and they are set to move onto the Avengers franchise for the first time later this year.
Captain America: Civil War is set to kick off Phase 3 of Marvel films and is based on the much-loved Civil War story arc from the comics.
Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr are set to lead the cast and go head to head as Captain America and Iron Man. Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Martin Freeman, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Rudd, and Tom Holland are some of the other names that make up the impressive ensemble cast.
Captain America: Civil War is released 29th April.
