Captain America

Captain America

Captain America 3 is set to do battle with Batman vs. Superman when they are both released May 6th 2016.

Last year Marvel released a set of dates for upcoming Marvel projects over the next couple of years: there will be two other films in 2016 and one in 2017, which are all yet to be named.

Batman vs. Superman was originally due for release next year, until the date was moved to 6th May 2016: a clash with the unnamed Marvel film.

However, it has now been revealed that Batman vs. Superman will go up again the third Captain America movie, and Marvel has no intention of changing the date to avoid the clash.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set to hit the big screen in less than a fortnight as Chris Evans returns to the title role. Joe and Anthony Russo are in the director’s chair for the sequel: it has also been announced this week that they will be returning for the third instalment.

Captain America: The Winter Solider is currently surrounded in positive buzz after a press screening in the U.S. and London in the last week: we were in that London press screening and I cannot wait for fans to see this movie.

Captain America 3 will be part of Phase 3 of Marvel films. Phase 2 will be brought to a close next year with Avengers: Age of Ultron, while Ant-Man. will kick of Phase 3

There is currently a lot of speculation around what the other unnamed Marvel movies could be; Doctor Strange, Hulk and Black Widow could all be possibilities. There is also a third Thor movie to be considered as well.

Batman vs. Superman will be the sequel to last year’s Man of Steel and will see Zack Snyder return to direct. Henry Cavill will reprise the role of Superman, while we will be introduced to Ben Affleck as Batman.  Jesse Eisenberg and Gal Gadot will also be on board as Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman.

Let battle commence!!!!
