Bryan Singer has taken to Instagram to tease X-Men fans about the next film X-Men: Apocalypse.
Singer has teamed up with Simon Kinberg, Dan Harris, and Michael Dougherty to pen the screenplay for the film, and is expected to return to the director's chair.
This teaser image of the script mentions a battle next to the Nile that involves the Four Horseman: they appeared at the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past.
It has already been revealed that X-Men: Apocalypse will be released in 1983, and will focus on the younger characters.
James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult are all expected to reprise their roles once again.
However, we are going to have a bit of a wait for the movie, as it is not set to hit the big screen until 2016.
X-Men: Days of Future Past was released earlier this summer and is one of the most successful films of the year so far.
The movie brought together the stars of First Class and the original franchise for the first time, and grossed over $713 million at the global box office.
X-Men: Apocalypse. is released 19th May 2016.
