Nicholas Hoult as Beast

Bryan Singer has given X-Men fans the first look at Beast from X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Singer is back at the helm of an X-Men film for the first time since X2 and it will reunite him with Nicholas Hoult after they worked together on U.S. #1 hit Jack The Giant Slayer.

Hoult is back as Hank McCoy aka the Beast after he took on the role for X-Men: First Class.

Singer posted the image on Twitter saying: "Many a monster wears the form of a man; it is better of the two to have the heart of a man & the form of a monster."

Filming is set to get underway on X-Men: Days of Future Past as the movie set for a summer 2014 release.

And Hoult is not the only familiar face returning as Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence are all back.

And they will be joined by dome franchise favourites as Partrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry are all also returning.
