Brie Larson has been given a "rap name" by her 'Kong: Skull Island' co-star Jason Mitchell.
Larson - who recently portrayed Eeazy-E in 2015 biopic 'Straight Outta Compton' - bonded with the 26-year-old beauty on the set of their forthcoming movie, which comes out in 2017, and now fondly calls her 'Young Brie'.
Jason shared: "We get along. We kick it on our days off ... I felt like I had to give her a rap name. She always wanted a rap name her whole life, so I'm like, 'You're Young Brie now.' "
Brie has landed a nomination for Best Actress at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards, which takes place in Los Angeles on Sunday (10.01.16), for her role in 'Room', and also picked up the Breakthrough Performance award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival last week.
Despite her recent successes, Jason thinks Brie is "dope" because she doesn't get caught up in Hollywood hype and they both still appreciate "every moment" in their respective careers.
He told Deadline: "I think we're both kind of in the same place mentally where we're not caught up on the hype of it or none of that. We're still at a super-homey point. No matter how much people talk about awards stuff, we still love it so much that everyday matters, every moment matters to us. It's dope working with somebody like that."
