Bradley Cooper has described The Hangover as a learning experience.
The Oscar nominated actor reprises the role of Phil in The Hangover Part III this week - a film that will bring the comedy franchise to a close.
But the actor says that the first film was a great learning experience for his as well as a project that opened many doors for him.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "We've also just learned about ourselves. We've all grown a lot.
"There was the movie and then what happened with the movie, and then being about to go all over the world. I had never done that before... It's been a multi-faceted learning experience."
Cooper grabbed everyone's attention in 2009 when he played Phil for the first time and since then he has been one of the most in demand actors in Hollywood.
And the last year has been hugely successful as Silver Linings Playbook was not only a major critical hit but it also earnt Cooper his first Best Actor Oscar nomination.
Since then he has flexed his acting muscles once more as he teamed up with Ryan Gosling in The Place Beyond The Pines.
He is currently working on American Hustle, a film that see him work with director David O. Russell for a second time, while Serena is also set to hit the big screen.
The Hangover Part III is released 23rd May.
