Bradley Cooper says he really loves the character of Rocket Racoon in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Cooper is the latest actor to join a Marvel movie as he has lent his voice to the character of Rocket in the James Gunn directed movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy is coming to the big screen for the first time next summer, and while Cooper was not familiar with the comics, he has fallen in love with his character.
Speaking to Collider the actor said: "Well, I like James (Gunn) a lot and it really was about him and then talking to him about the guy. I wasn’t familiar with the comic at all and then I really loved it, and I love that character. He’s incredible that character.
“You know, one thing we debated was he’s seen as a cockney accent sometimes. So we talked about whether we’d do that or do this sort of other guy from the city a little bit.”
Cooper is just one name on a star-studded cast list as Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Benicio Del Toro, John C. Reilly, Lee Pace and Karen Gillan are all on board.
Guardians of the Galaxy will be the second of two marvel movies to hit the big screen in 2014 - the first being Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
It is going to be a busy year for Cooper as we are also set to see him star in American Hustle - for which he may pick up an Oscar nomination - and Serena.
Guardians of the Galaxy is released 1st August 2014.
