Brad Pitt says it was 'painful' when he realised that the end of World War Z needed to be re-shot.
Pitt faces a zombie apocalypse in his new movie - which is a big screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by Max Brooks.
But it was decided that the final scenes for the film didn't work and everyone was called back to shoot it again.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "It was abysmal.
"It was really painful. What it means is that after you've put in that much work, you go, 'Oh, we're so far away'," he said of having to do a 20 million dollar re-shoot.
"It just means we've got a lot more to go. You go home, you have one too many beers and you get up the next day and you go, 'OK. This is what we got to do'."
World War Z sees Pitt team up with director Marc Forster for the first time while Mireille Enos and Matthew Fox are also on the cast list.
And we are going to be seeing plenty of Pitt over the coming months as he has also finished work on 12 Years A Slave and The Counselor and has lent his voice to Voyage of Time.
World War Z is out now.
