Brad Pitt says it's not strange going up against his good friend George Clooney in the Best Actor category at the Oscars.
Pitt has picked up another nomination for his central performance in Moneyball while Clooney has been recognised for his role in The Descendants.
When asked if it was strange to go up against Clooney on the Today programmes Pitt said: "Absolutely not!
"It's more fun to have a friend there and no-one does it better than George.
"I say give him all the trophies and when you run out of trophies make some new ones and give him those too!"
Clooney is the favourite for the gong but other nominees in the category include Jean Dujardin, Gary Oldman and Demian Bichir.
