Matt Damon reveals that Jason Bourne is in a 'dark' place when we meet him in the fifth film in the popular franchise.

Filming is still underway on the latest film in the series, which will see Damon reprise the role of Bourne for the first time since The Bourne Ultimatum back in 2007.
While very little is known about the plot, Damon has dropped a little hint as to what we can expect from the character this time around.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actor said: "There's been the financial collapse, the great recession, all these issues of cyberwarfare and civil liberties," Damon told EW.
"We find him in a dark and tortured place."
The movie sees Damon reunite with filmmaker Paul Greengrass for their fourth project together and their first since Green Zone back in 2010. I cannot wait to see this actor and filmmaker work together again to see what direction they take this story and very popular character.
Damon is not the only familiar face on the cast list, as Julia Stiles will also be back as Nicky - who has been with the franchise from the start. They are joined by Alicia Vikander, Tommy Lee Jones, Vincent Cassel, and Riz Ahmed.
The fifth Bourne film is set to be one of the biggest movies of the summer and it is exciting to see Damon return to this role... I hope we get a new trailer very soon.
We haven't seen Damon on the big screen since the success of The Martian in autumn last year, but the actor has already completed work on The Great Wall.
The Great Wall sees the actor work with director Yimou Zhang and star alongside Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, and Andy Lau.
The fifth Bourne film is released 28th July.
