John Logan
John Logan says Bond 24 will continue the same themes as Skyfall.
Logan is back on screenwriting duty with Bond 24, and he has been working closely with director Sam Mendes. Logan says he is excited about this latest story.
Speaking to Empire, Logan said: "Right now the first draft is almost done. I’m terrifically excited about it!
"I’ve been working very closely with Sam [Mendes], and it’s been joyous to pick up from our work on Skyfall and just continue on with the storytelling.
"The new movie continues the themes of Skyfall. Some of the characters and themes that we began to introduce in Skyfall will play out, I hope successfully, in the next movie."
Bond 24 is already one of the most anticipated films of 2015, that will see Daniel Craig reprise the role of 007.
Sam Mendes is back in the director's chair for the film: it will be his second Bond movie.
Skyfall hit the big screen in 2012, and went on to be the most successful Bond movie of all time.
Last week Ralph Fiennes revealed that filming is set to begin in October.
Bond 24 is scheduled for a 23rd October 2015.
