Chris Hemsworth is set to return to the big screen next year, as he teams up with director Michael Mann with crime/drama Blackhat.
Blackhat marks the first time that Hemsworth has worked with Mann, who is returning to the director's chair for the first time since Public Enemies back in 2009. Mann has also teamed up with Morgan Davis Foehl to pen the screenplay.
Hemsworth is set to take on the central role of Nicholas Hathaway and he is in the action packed new feature length trailer. We have the trailer for you to take a look at:
Viola Davis, William Mapother, Wei Tang, and John Ortiz are just some of the other names that will be joining Hemsworth on the cast list.
Set within the world of global cybercrime, Legendary's Blackhat follows a furloughed convict and his American and Chinese partners as they hunt a high-level cybercrime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta.
We are going to be seeing plenty of Hemsworth on the big screen next year, with In The Heart of the Sea and Avengers: Age of Ultron also on the horizon, and Blackhat is another of the movies that is not to be missed.
Mann has brought us some terrific films during his career - Heat being the one that particularly stands out - and I can't wait to see what he delivers with this new film.
