Kevin Macdonald is set to return to the director's chair with Black Sea, and the movie will be hitting the big screen at the beginning of next year.
Focus Features have revealed that Black Sea will be released in the U.S. on January 23rd, 2015.
Macdonald is back in the director's chair for the first time since How I Live Now, while Dennis Kelly has penned the screenplay.
Kelly has written for the likes of TV shows Utopia, and Pulling, but this is the first of his screenplays to be adapted into a feature film.
Jude Law is set to lead the cast as Captain Robinson, while Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Jodie Whittaker are also on board.
In order to make good with his former employers, a submarine captain takes a job with a shadowy backer to search the depths of the Black Sea for a sub that's rumoured to be loaded with gold.
There is not change to the UK release date, which remains 5th December 2014.
