Billy Crystal says that Monsters University is more that just adding his voice to a project, he is part of something special.
The actor is back this week as he lend his voice, once again, to the character of Mike Wazowski.
We were introduced to Mike back in 2001 and - after a twelve years wait - he and Sulley are back on the big screen.
Speaking to Press Association the actor said: "If you're with a group like this, you know you're going to be in something spectacular and will be a part of something special. For me, getting to work with John live makes it more than an acting job.
"I never think of it as a voice-over, I think of it as getting to be Mike again. We took off in the first movie, and we read in the same room.
"It just makes the comedy sing and the drama moments real. We don't even look at the script, we knew our lines."
"I like the tender moments between the two of them. The moments of bonding and friendship are the ones I love the most."
Monsters University has already topped the U.S. box office and is set to be one of the biggest films of the summer.
Dan Scanlon is in the director's chair this time around while Helen Mirren, Alfred Molina and Nathan Fillion are some of the new actors on board.
Monsters University is released 12th July.
