The BFI London Film Festival 2014 is just a few weeks away, and this morning the full programme was announced.
We already knew that The Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, and Fury, starring Brad Pitt, would open and close the festival and Foxcatcher was also confirmed.
This morning it was revealed that Whiplash, Men, Women & Children, Wild, Testament of Youth and Mr Turner are the other big gala moves that will feature.
Whiplash lit up the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, while Men, Women, & Children and Wild will both receive their European Premieres at the festival.
Testament of Youth and Mr Turner will showcase some of Britain's finest acting talent, with the likes of Kit Harington, Hayley Atwell, Emily Watson, and Timothy Spall all set to star.
The nine programme strands are each headlined with a gala and those movie include A Little Chaos from Alan Rickman, Jon Stewart's Rosewater, Mommy, Wild Tales, The Salvation, The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom, Song of the Sea, Winter Sleep, and Björk: Biophilia Live.
