Benicio del Toro is rumoured to be in talks to star in Inherent Vice.
The movie would see the Oscar winning actor team up with Joaquin Phoenix in the Paul Thomas Anderson directed movie.
Inherent Vice is a big screen adaptation of the novel by Thomas Pynchon and The Wrap have reported that del Toro is in talks to play a lawyer in the film.
This would be the first film for director Anderson since he received critical acclaim for The Master last year - it would also see him reunite with Phoenix.
We haven't seen del Toro on the big screen since he starred in Savages last year but he does have a string of projects on the horizon.
He has completed work on Jimmy P: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian and is currently filming Paradise Lost.
The movie is directed by Andrea Di Stefano and will see del Toro star alongside Josh Hutcherson and Brian Geraghty.
