Ben Platt says 'there is a little bit more pressure' on Pitch Perfect 2 than there was when shooting the first film.
Pitch Perfect 2 is set to hit the big screen next May, and will come three years after the success of Pitch Perfect.
Platt is set to reprise the role of Benji Applebaum in the sequel and feels that the new movie is 'under a microscope'.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said: "There's a little bit more pressure because everyone knows what Pitch Perfect is.
"It's as if we're revisiting out first experience, but it's been blown up and it's kind of under a microscope in a certain way."
Platt is not the only new face on the cast list, as Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, and Adam DeVine are also back.
However, there are some new faces to watch out for as Hailee Steinfeld is the big new addition to the cast list.
Elizabeth Banks - who starred in the first film - has taken over the director's chair, as she makes her feature film directorial debut with the project.
Platt made his big screen debut with Pitch Perfect in 2012, and Pitch Perfect 2 will be his first role since that success.
Pitch Perfect 2 is released 15th May 2015.
