Ben Affleck has already written a solo Batman script, according to his agent Patrick Whitesell.
We were introduced to Affleck's version of Bruce Wayne for the first time over the weekend in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - the first time that we have seen the character on the big screen since The Dark Knight Rises.
While the film has struggled to win over the critics, it has grossed over $500 million worldwide in less than a week, which is pretty good going.
We are going to be seeing Affleck make a cameo appearance in Suicide Squad later this year and a solo outing could be on the horizon. However, the solo project is yet to get the green light from Warner Bros.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Whitesell said: "He's contracted to do at least Justice League One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape.
"There's a script that he's written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that's out there as an option."
Affleck stars alongside Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot in Dawn of Justice as he teams up with filmmaker Zack Snyder for the first time.
Dawn of Justice was one of the most anticipated comic book films of the year and looks set to surpass Zootropolis and Deadpool as the highest grossing films of 2016 so far.
As for Affleck, this was his first big screen outing since the critical and commercial success of Gone Girl back in 2014. And we are going to be seeing plenty of him this year as he has also completed work on The Accountant, which sees Gavin O'Connor in the director's chair.
Affleck has also completed work on his new directorial outing, Live by Night. As well as directing the film, Affleck has adapted the Dennis Lehane novel into a screenplay and will star in the film alongside Scott Eastwood, Zoe Saldana and Sienna Miller.
The first of the Justice League movies is set to hit the big screen at the end of next year with Zack Snyder back in the director's chair.
