Ben Affleck has talked about landing the role of Batman, and says that the new film is an 'incredible take' the story.
Affleck will team up with Henry Cavill for Superman vs Batman; which is the sequel to Man of Steel.
And the actor says that director Zack Snyder is very keen on doing something different to the Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale movies.
Talking to Jimmy Fallon the actor said: "They called me up and said: Do you want to do this? And I thought: Well, I’m not 25, man, are you sure about this? [They said] Come down, I want to show you what we’re doing.
"And it was incredible. Zack Snyder is directing it. It’s an incredible take on it.
"Obviously you can’t do what Christian [Bale] did, those movies are amazing, so he wants to do something different. But still in keeping with that.
"I thought 'this is a brilliant way to do this and I know how to hook into this. This is something that is really exciting."
Ben Affleck will be back on the big screen at the end of the month with Runner Runner, and he is currently working on new project Gone Girl.
Superman vs Batman is released 2015.
