Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice
The highly anticipated Batman vs Superman has been officially titled Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Just to create a little bit more excitement, the first official logo for the movie has also been revealed.
Filming is underway on the sequel to Man of Steel in Detroit and will see Zack Snyder return to the director's chair.
Henry Cavill is back as Superman, while Ben Affleck will join the franchise as Batman. Dawn of Justice will mark the first time we have seen Batman on the big screen since the success of The Dark Knight Rises back in 2012.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel.
Jesse Eisenberg is also on board as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.
Principal photography will take place on location at Michigan Motion Picture Studios and on location in and around Detroit, Michigan; Illinois; Africa; and the South Pacific.
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit the big screen in the U.S. on May 6th 2016, and is set to go head to head with Captain America 3.
