Anthony Mackie has revealed that filming on Captain America: Civil War will get underway in April.
Civil War is set to the third solo Captain America film and will explore the iconic Civil War storyline from the comic books.
Mackie will be reprising the role of Sam Wilson aka Falcon and he reveals when and where they will be filming.
Speaking to B96 Chicago, the actor said: "We start shooting in April. So, it’s gonna be a lot of flying and fighting for about five months... and I’m not mad at all."
When asked where filming would be taking place, Mackie said: "Puerto Rico, Berlin, and Atlanta."
Mackie was introduced as Falcon for the first time last year in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which went on to be a huge critical and commercial success.
The movie will see Mackie reunite with Chris Evans as he returns to the central role of Steve Rodgers. Robert Downey Jr, Frank Grillo, Chadwick Boseman, and Jeremy Renner are just some of the names that have also been linked with the film.
The movie will see Anthony and Joe Russo return to the director's chair for their second Captain America movie - they were behind The Winter Soldier.
Civil War is set to follow on from events of the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron and will see the governments of the world try to regulate superhuman activity by introducing the registration act. The movie will see Captain America and Iron Man take different sides in this new war.
Captain America will be back later this year in Age of Ultron as Evans stars alongside Downey Jr, Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, and Mark Ruffalo.
Captain America: Civil War is released 29th April 2016.
