Anthony Mackie has revealed that he will play an 'integral' part in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Mackie is one of the new faces on the cast list for the second Captain America movie - which will see Chris Evans reprise the title role.
And Mackie says that he is already in training for the role as filming has just got underway.
Speaking to BlackFilm the actor said: "I'm happy to say that I'm in a good deal of the movie and I play an integral part with Captain America taking down the Winter Soldier. It's great.
"They started the shoot two and a half weeks ago and once I finished doing press for Pain & Gain, I go in and join them. I've been doing combat training and fitness training just to get prepared."
"It's going to be something and I'm excited for it."
Mackie is not the only new face to watch our for in the new movie as Robert Redford, Emily VanCamp and Frank Grillo are all also on board.
We will next be seeing Mackie on the big screen in Michael Bay's Pain & Gain while he has also completed work on Runner, Runner and A Many Splintered Thing.
