Anthony and Joe Russo have revealed that the intend to re-title the Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2 movies.
The Russo brothers are set to direct an Avengers film for the first time - taking over from Joss Whedon - and it seems that they are not big fans of the current working titles for the films.
They have already hinted that they are going to be two very different films - something they reiterate here - and that they plan to give the films titles that reflect that.
Speaking to Uproxx, Joe said: "The movies are two very different movies."
Anthony continued: "It is misleading. The intention is we will change it, we just haven't come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them."
I guess we are going to have to wait and see what the directing duo intend to call the movies by the time that they hit the big screen in 2018 and 2019. Filming on the movies is expected to get underway later this year and it looks like both movies will be shot at the same time.
The Russo brothers already have two Marvel films under their belts with The Winter Solider and Civil War. I don't know about you, but I am excited to see what they bring to the Avengers franchise.
We are still waiting to hear which actors are going to be on the cast list for the film.
The duo is currently basking in the critical and commercial success of Civil War, which was released internationally last week. The movie is set to open in the States tomorrow.
The film, which is the third Captain America solo film and kicks of Phase 3 of Marvel movies, is already raking in the cash and has been met well by the critics.
Civil War already sits at the top of the UK box office and looks set to be a huge smash in the U.S. this weekend.
