Ant-Man sees Paul Rudd take up the title role for the first time as he becomes the latest big named actor to step into the Marvel Universe - he is set to make an appearance in Captain America: Civil War next year.

The movie has also topped the U.S. box office this weekend and took over £4 million in the UK on the first few days of release.

Ant-Man is the second of two Marvel films to hit the big screen this year - the first being Avengers: Age of Ultron - and is the first of a string of new franchises on the horizon over the next couple of years; Doctor Strange and Black Panther are just some that you need to watch out for.
