Ant-Man will now open 17th July 2015.
No sooner has Warner Bros. pulled Batman vs Superman from the summer 2015 schedule, Marvel announce that Ant-Man will be taking its place.
Ant-Man was due to hit the big screen in the U.S. 31st July 2015, and now it will be released two weeks earlier.
Ant-Man will will be the first Marvel movie to hit the big screen after The Avengers: Age of Ultron, and will be the first film in Phase Three of Marvel films.
The movie will see Edgar Wright in the director's chair as he helms his first Marvel film; not to mention is will be the biggest film of his directing career.
Earlier this month is was revealed that Michael Douglas had landed the role of Hank Pym, while Paul Rudd is also on board as Scott Lang.
Ant-Man will now go up against Pan, as they both share the same U.S. release date.
Filming is due to get under this year.
