Anne Hathaway would love a Catwoman spin-off movie.
The 22-year-old actress starred as Selina Kyle / Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises' and revealed she would jump at the chance to reprise the role.
In a Facebook Live chat with Variety, she said: "I loved that character and I had such a blast playing her. I'm not sure how it would work because I think the Chris Nolan chapter of the Batman story has been wrapped up and I'm part of that, but I love the DC Universe and it would be fun to take a trip back."
And while Anne would love to play Catwoman again, she is open to another actress taking over from her in the iconic role, which has also been played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.
She said: "It sort of goes with the territory when you accept it and receive it from the last Catwoman. I was shown such generosity from Halle and from Michelle, and so I would do that the next time as well."
While Anne is interested in a spin-off, she could potentially star in Ben Affleck's forthcoming standalone Batman project, which he will star in and direct.
Ben previously confirmed Deathstroke will be the villain in the upcoming film, which is as-yet untitled.
He posted a short video on Twitter of the character, who is also known as Slade, walking towards the camera looking menacing.
And fans have also started speculating that DC Comics supervillain Mr. Freeze could make an appearance in the movie as at the end of Affleck's clip he panned out to a Titan Cool portable air conditioner.
One wrote: "Everyone's freaking out about Deathstroke but what about the Mr Freeze reveal at the end? (sic)"
Deathstroke was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez and first appeared in DC Comic 'The New Teen Titans' #2 in 1980.
The character has a grudge against Green Arrow but his original enemy was the Teen Titans.
He has also gone up against Batman on several occasions in DC Comics following their first duel in 1991's 'City of Assassins' story, in which Deathstroke badly beat up the Dark Knight.
