Annabelle Wallis has had her role in 'Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur' cut back "considerably".
The 31-year-old actress reportedly left filmmaker Guy Ritchie "disappointed" with her portrayal of Maid Maggie in his upcoming movie, so he is having to rework a large part of the film, resulting in the recently-announced delay to its release.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Annabelle's acting was not up to scratch and it has thrown a huge spanner in the works.
"Guy thought she was dreadful and has cut her part considerably as a result. He is really disappointed.
"The film will still go ahead but this has really set it back.
"They are having to re-shoot parts of the movie to fill in the gaps and it will take a long time. It's the last thing Guy needs right now to be honest."
Warner Bros. recently announced the upcoming movie's release date has been moved from July 22, 2016 to February 17, 2017.
Charlie Hunnam portrays the titular character in the movie, while Eric Bana stars as his father Uther Pendragon.
Jude Law is lined up as villain Vortigern and Astrid Bergès-Frisbey will portray Arthur's significant other Guinevere.
The story tells of Arthur being unaware of his destiny at first until he stumbles upon the mighty sword Excalibur.
After meeting Guinevere, he then sets about taking his rightful place on the throne, but evil Vortigern stands in his way.
