Anna Kendrick initially thought the opportunity to appear alongside George Clooney in 'Up in the Air' was above her "pay grade".
The 31-year-old actress' career has been on an upward curve since she landed the coveted role in the 2009 comedy-drama.
She said: "I thought, this is so above my pay grade, I won't even bother imagining that I'll get this job."
A few months later, however, Anna found herself starring opposite George in the film.
Recalling her experiences of working with the Hollywood star, Anna told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "The hotel we were staying at had yoga classes, so I thought I might be good at that, I took dance as a kid. And on set, I was like, 'yeah, I was doing this move with my leg over my shoulder'. Bragging, basically.
"And George said, 'can you touch your head to your knees?' I was like, no one can do that. And he did it right there in front of me. He basically folded himself in half. It's really impressive. It was like, OK - so you're better than me at everything."
Despite subsequently becoming one of the most in-demand actresses in the movie business, Anna admitted she still has lots of self-doubts.
She shared: "I can talk myself out of doing things sometimes."
