Anna Kendrick says she is 'done' with singing roles as they are 'stressful'.
Kendrick has worked on a string of musical roles in the last couple of years, the latest being The Last 5 Years.
The Last Five Years has been screened at the Toronto International Film Festival this week and sees the actress team up with Jeremy Jordan and director Richard LaGravenese.
Speaking to the Press Association about working on musicals, the actress said: "After the last couple of years, I'm so done singing.
"It's so stressful and so much work. It's like being an athlete. It's something you have to maintain and think about."
Kendrick's first big musical came at the end of 2012 with Pitch Perfect; she is set to reprise the role of Beca next year in Pitch Perfect 2.
Elizabeth Banks has taken over the director's chair for the sequel, while Rebel Wilson, Skylar Astin and Brittany Snow are also back.
We are also going to see Kendrick play Cinderella in Into The Woods. Kendrick will be part of an ensemble cast that includes Johnny Depp, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Chris Pine. Rob Marshall will be in the director's chair for the film.
Away from the musical genre, Kendrick has also completed work on The Hollars and Digging For Fire.
The Last 5 Years will be released in UK 12th December.
