Andrew Scott has described director Sam Mendes as an 'exciting person to work with.'
Scott has teamed up with Mendes for the first time as he joins the James Bond franchise with Spectre - which is set to hit the big screen in a weeks time.
The British actor is just one of the new faces on board the twenty fourth Bond film and will take on the role of Max Denbigh, a member of the British government. And Scott has revealed that he has enjoyed his time on set with the Oscar winning filmmaker.
Speaking to The Guardian, the actor said: "Sam [Mendes] is such an exciting person to work with. He made it feel as if we were putting on a play, albeit with about 500 people standing around watching us rehearse."
And while Scott has talked openly about working with Mendes, has remained tight-lipped about his role in the film - refusing to give anything away.
He continued: "That would spoil the fun, wouldn't it? Let's put it this way. I get to wear great suits and do a lot of really fun, proper James Bondy stuff.
"To be in a James Bond film is just really cool, right?"
Scott is not the only new face on the cast list as Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, Lea Seydoux, and Monica Bellucci will all star alongside Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Naomie Harris.
Spectre is the first Bond film to hit the big screen since Skyfall in 2012 and will be the fourth Bond film that we have seen Craig take on the role of 007.
As for Scott, this is his first film outing since the huge success of Pride last year but he has also completed work on Swallows and Amazons, Victor Frankenstein, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and The Beautiful Fantastic.
The actor is currently filming his latest project Handsome Devil, which will see him team up with director and writer John Butler.
Spectre is released 26th October.
