Andrew Garfield says had 'more confidence' when he returned to the role of Spider Man for a second time.
Garfield returns to the big screen this week in The Amazing Spider Man 2: which comes two years after the success of the first film.
Speaking to The Sun, the actor said: I actually had more confidence for the second film because Spider-Man is more confident.
"When Peter puts on Spandex, he gets to save people's lives. When he's just Peter, he's got to deal with being just Peter. It's the same with me."
The Amazing Spider Man 2 sees Garfield reunite with director Marc Webb, while Emma Stone and Sally Field are also reprising their roles.
Jamie Foxx, Dane DaHaan and Paul Giamatti are some of the exciting new names that have joined the cast list.
The Amazing Spider Man 2 may have only just hit the big screen, but a third film is already in the pipeline.
As for Garfield, he is going to be talking a little break from Peter Parker with roles in 99 Homes and Silence.
