Amber Heard has joined the DC Universe and is set to Mera in 'The Justice League: Part One'.

Heard has been linked to the Justice League movie for quite some time and now, the actress herself has confirmed that she is set to play the wife of Aquaman in the upcoming comic book film.
And while the actress did not give much away about her character, she reveals that the development of her costume is already underway.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Heard said: "Yeah, yeah I have. It's interesting. It's like, half suit of armour, half scales.
"I don't know, it's strange. But we're in the process of building it now, so it's coming along."
The Justice League movie is something that has been the pipeline for some time and it looks like the project is finally moving along at a swift pace.
Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa are all set to appear as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. Heard will make her debut with Justice League before the solo Aquaman film that will follow.
Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice filmmaker Zack Snyder will be in the director's chair for the film, while "Yeah, yeah I have. It's interesting. It's like, half suit of armour, half scales.

we last se Heard on the big screen at the beginning of the year in The Danish Girl and he has also completed work on London Fields, which is set for release later this year.
While we have seen Heard in the likes of Magic Mike XXL and The Run Diary in recent year, Justice League: Part 1 is set to be her first blockbuster project and the biggest film of her career.
