Alexandra Shipp has revealed that she would like to reprise the role of Storm for a cameo in X-Men: New Mutants.
Shipp took over the role of Storm for the first time in X-Men: Apocalypse as we see a younger version of this character for the first time.
X-Men: New Mutants is one of the projects that is on the horizon for this franchise and Shipp is keen to make an appearance.
Speaking to IGN, the actress said: "I can't say very much about New Mutants, but it would be awesome to do a little cameo, a little Where's Waldo?, Where's Ororo? in the background."
But it is not just X-Men: New Mutants that Shipp is hoping to reprise the role of Storm as often as possible going forward.
The actress continued: "I love Storm as a character. I'd love to reprise her in many different movies and be able to show people different sides of her because she is so multidimensional and I think that the people who love Storm at least as much as I do, really want to see that.
"We want to see Storm killin' it and kickin' ass. That's the best thing about her, how amazing and powerful she is."
Shipp was one of a string of new faces on the cast list of X-Men: Apocalypse as she starred alongside Sophie Turner, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Olivia Munn, and Oscar Isaac.
X-Men: Apocalypse has been met with mixed reviews but has grossed over $100 million in its opening weekend worldwide.
As for Shipp, X-Men: Apocalypse is the biggest film of her career to date but she has already completed work on Dude. The movie sees her star alongside Austin Butler, Lucy Hale, and Austin Abrams while Olivia Milch is in the director's chair.
X-Men: Apocalypse is out now.
