Alec Baldwin says that he could give up acting tomorrow.
Baldwin has enjoyed a career that has spanned over thirty years and seen him enjoy success on both the big and small screen.
And while the actor has enjoyed that success he says that acting is not addictive.
Speaking to The Independent newspaper's Radar magazine, he said: "I don't think acting is addictive. If I stopped acting tomorrow I really wouldn't care.
"If you told me that I would have to sell real estate in New York City to look after my family, that would be fine with me."
Baldwin returned to the big screen earlier this year with Blue Jasmine: a movie that saw him team up with Cate Blanchett and director Woody Allen.
The movie has been met with universal praise and looks set to be one of the big Oscar contenders at the beginning of next year.
Baldwin is currently filming a new movie with Cameron Crowe, which is also set to star Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper and Bill Murray.
